Fortress Microfinance Bank Limited (Fortress MFB) was incorporated on February 8, 2008. It obtained approval in principle to set-up a MFB in Nigeria from Central Bank of Nigeria in December 2007, and was licensed to commence operation on July 7, 2008. Full banking operations commenced on August 1, 2008. Fortress MFB that has operated for the past 12 years. It is a Unit MFB — it operates from just one location.

With our recent change in Management and the injection of sufficient fund to meet up Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) minimum capital requirement of N100million for our MFB category, the bank is positioned to digitalized its operations and provide value-added and convenient banking services to its customers. We are leveraging on technology to provide tailored-made banking products to our customers.
